Saved for later.

Damn, those dtc-70s have twice the friction my old HPSs had and at twice the temperature. That’s crazy. I’m assuming they’re super expensive race only products.

Yes, look at the temp range, you’re going to have to ride your brakes all the way to work
They don’t even work under 300 hahaha

Do racers have to do a couple brake stands before the race to warm them up or are they usually going hard enough to get them up to temp at the first corner?

I’m somewhat kidding about not working at all… the thing is they will heat up fast but you have to apply hard, one or two good braking zones is enough to get pads like this up to temp.  But this is not like braking to a stoplight lol

It takes lots and lots of hard braking to get racing brakes up to temperature. That’s why morning warm ups can be helpful! If you go out on the track with cold brakes, be prepared to have no brakes at all.

This is awesome! There needs to be more information like this more readily available for people.

i dont even remember what pads i have haha.

This is super cool, but I feel like I hardly see Hawk pads in pro racing.. Everyone uses Pagid and Endless from what I see.
